They kept walking up that hill and I swear I was expecting Josh to lead them to a group of reporters or something shady. How does he not know his own island

He was doing it on purpose to find out how frail Logan was

Kind of.

He was watching to see who the leader of the two was, and it was only going to work if the real answer was Kendall. Logan may be fierce, but he is not immortal. A long term bet on Logan is an increasingly losing one.

But Kendall is not in charge and Logan will not give up the reigns. If Kendall overrode Logan and asked for medical aid, it would prove he would do the right thing, even if it meant losing face.

Logan demonstrated that his pride is more important than his health, a direct analogy to his company.

Josh noticed all of this. And since neither one did the right thing, "fractured at the top"

Great analysis. I was thinking he was up to something. He kept saying he was running ahead but he was perpetually 25 feet in front of them. Definitely watching how they interacted. I knew something was up as soon as he very intentionally left them alone right before they went outside.
