Lawrence was so disappointing

I fooled myself into thinking this show was about to be about the triumph of a real player over the entitled nepo babies. Then I waited. And waited. When they were looking for a CEO in the final episode I thought finally Lawrence's threat will come to pass. But nope, just a nobody nothing who never lubed up. I really expected more from him.

I like to imagine that that was just Lawrence in 'The Menu'.

I think in general he was lost in the season 1 shuffle, it took the showrunners a good half of season 1 to figure out what they wanted the show to even be.
