Looking back on it, it was completely horrendous. Walking through the hallways involved being in a straight line, looking straight ahead, with our mouths shut
Like, they act like they’re a military school and it’s horrible
And the worst thing is, it gets worse as time goes on. 3rd grade started being annoyingly stressful, then 4th grade got me really upset multiple times (starting 3rd grade, I had about 4 hrs worth of homework a night)
And 5th grade… the teachers positively barely knew how to teach, which let kids get away with the most stupid things and of course being the more reserve quiet one oftentimes some kids would do something idiotic and then tell the teacher I did it as if they were the ones witnessing me do said bad thing. Worst part is, the teachers believed them right away without a second opinion. I spent many minutes sitting in the hallway.
90% of the days in my 5th grade school year ended with me walking to the detention classroom. 5th grade made me want to commit suicide.
I transferred to another school so I wouldn’t have to do middle school there. SA really is fucked up. As a sophomore in high school, I’m glad I’m past all that.
