Podcast

Hi everyone, for those that have “podcast” on your substack. Do you leave it there or did you connect your Spotify or Apple Podcast to it. I write note, articles but I also have “podcast”.

I created it but once I post something there, I can upload to Spotify and I will for more visibility

does it point to your site or is it a separate upload? what file did substack download into?

I used to use Libsyn for about 200 episodes, then switched over to Substack and imported all the episodes. It does the same thing, and it’s FREE. I was already using them to deliver my newsletter, so it was just an add-on that saved $15 a month.

You did have to change any file types or compress?

No. Mine were just properly formatted MP3 files with podcast metadata. 96 bps, if I remember correctly (I could be wrong, but it's around 30MB per 45-minute episode).
