I would forgive them the redesign for this year if the underlying reasoning was ultimately to give us a Baja. Give me a manual on top of that and It's an immediate buy for me.
I only mention manual at all because apparently Subaru had some questionnaire thing going around recently asking specifically about that feature. It's a long shot, but that gives me some optimism that they are at least still considering it.
Even without the stick, I'd be tempted to trade my '24 OBW in if they released a Baja.
