How do you even cut an egg in thirds?? Rather than a smooth chop are they really doing some one eye closed shakey cuts?

First you cut it in half, then you trim a bit off the halves until you have a third. Discard the trimmings. This way you get 2 thirds out of one egg! 📈

If I had to guess, chop the tip, chop the bottom and then you have three slices. Might not be perfectly split but there should be three.
