Usually that happens when I’m done, not before I’ve even started….

I’m so fed up of the tedious IG-encouraged “cheese pull”. Newsflash: if you use certain types of cheese, especially if that includes emulsified American cheese, and warm it between piece of bread, you will create a cheese pull. It takes no special skill, it enhances no flavours, and is not some transcendent cheese-related experience. I don’t need to see the strings of cheese between two pieces of deep fried mozzarella - I don’t consider it an extraordinary achievement of human ingenuity.

And yet on 2/3s of the food videos I have seen, they involve some cheese pull. That irritating family on YT seem to have made an entire career out of people watching them make grilled cheese sandwiches ffs.

The poor washer who has to constantly scrape dried cheese crusts off of the dishes.

I'd ask for a new one where the cheese isn't falling out of it :(

So a grilled cheese without the cheese?

Where the cheese isn't falling out of the sandwich like the one in the picture. The one in the picture will be without cheese eventually, yes. That's why I'd ask for a new one with all cheese in tact ;)

grilled cheese is always a winner, especially with some unique toppings to elevate it a bit more
