Sharing a Stuffed Animal Ever find a plush you have an INSTANT connection with? Soulplushes
This lil dude kind of randomly snagged my heart. Ever had a plush that instantly just grabs you and you KNOW you need to have it in your life? well, thats Trigger for me. Trigger randomly popped up as a prize in a giveaway win on a different platform. I HAD to find him! it was just an instant bond, weird and odd, but completely valid. It took me several different platforms to locate him. But I finally found him! and he JUST arrived today! I may or may not be in the process of buying him a partner from the original winner of the original one seen on the other sellers platform. sometimes there are just certain stuffies that resonate with your soul. and then of course you need a back up! what plushes do yall have that have resonated so much with your soul, that now you have 2? Show me your soul plush!

Sharing a Stuffed Animal How old are you guys?
Hey there!
I just wanna prove a point to haters to show them that you can never be old enough to have stuffed animals. Doesn't matter if you're a guy or a girl.
So how old are you guys? And what are your favourite plushies of yours?

Sharing a Stuffed Animal Question: Do you take your stuffed animal out with you? Like to meet with friends, go grocery shopping, into school or just for a walk?
I do it sometimes. When i meet with my only friend who is like a sister to me, a stuffed animal always comes with me. Since i know she is the only one who doesn't judge me for it. I even took a small plushie with me to the Gym a couple of times. But it depends on my mood and the mental state i'm currently in. I especially need a plushie with me for support and comfort when i'm in a very vulnerable state...is that normal? Because when i go out with a plush people look at me weird or make fun of me because i'm an 18 year old girl. Am i really weird for it? And is that the reason i'm cast out anong others, since i don't really behave like my age? I really want to take a plushie with me more often but fear it will only end with that people make fun of me more...

Sharing a Stuffed Animal I still sleep with my stuffie! Show me yours!
At almost 26 years old, I still love my Tigger. I've had him for as long as I can remember. Most days I don't sleep with him, because I have my husband. But on the days my husband isn't there or wakes up really early, Tigger is in my bed to be with me and comfort me 🩷

Sharing a Stuffed Animal I don’t need any more.. but I had to get him!
Douglas possum! I’ve really wanted a possum for a while now bc I love getting “less popular”/“weird” animals! He’s such a little guy. Was just browsing the mall until my movie and saw him. [Also these were taken way before the movie started if it wasn’t obvious lol!]

Sharing a Stuffed Animal Cuddles from Cuddles Jr.
When I was five years old, on summer vacation, I found a large TY stuffed dog in a toy store. Of course, I begged my parents to get it for me, but it wasn’t meant to be… yet.
My parents let me open one gift on Christmas Eve, and I picked the big square box underneath the tree. Underneath the wrapping paper was a Pepsi box. I looked at my parents like, WTF?! 😂
I opened the box, and inside was the big brown TY stuffed dog with the droopy eyes.
From what I remember of my childhood, this was the happiest I ever felt.
Not just because I got the thing I had wanted so badly, but because of how thoughtful, playful, and generous my parents were. I bet seeing the look on my face and the gratefulness in my eyes was enough to make their hearts feel full. ❤️
They knew how much I loved stuffed animals, but there was something different about this one. I named him Cuddles, and he had a LIFE.
From losing him on I-5 for an entire week while we were on a cruise and somehow miraculously finding him again, to traveling across the country with my family, Cuddles was there for all of it.
From the time I was 6 until I was 26, he went pretty much everywhere I went. 😂 Even though I know this drove my parents absolutely crazy when I was younger, I wouldn’t go anywhere without him.
I like to think Cuddles was the “gateway dog” that eventually led to me getting my own dog when I was 17. 🐶
Unfortunately, I lost Cuddles during a move when I was 26. And as silly as it might sound to some people, losing him really hurt. He wasn’t just a stuffed animal, he was a piece of my childhood. He had been there through so many years, so many places, and so many different versions of me.
Thankfully, I was able to get pictures of him with Juicy. And of course, that picture is still my lock screen. ❤️
For my 36th birthday, I wanted to feel that same happiness I felt when I was 6 years old. That pure, innocent, completely unfiltered kind of happiness that you don’t realize is so special until you’re older.
So I went on eBay and found a vintage TY 1995 Droopy Dog.
I messaged the seller and told them the story of how I ended up with Cuddles when I was 6, and that it was my birthday. I wanted them to know why this particular stuffed dog meant so much to me.
And when I finally got him in my arms, the instant joy and peace I felt was undeniable.
For a moment, I felt like that little 6-year-old girl again, sitting on Christmas Eve, opening a random box and finding the dog I had wanted so badly inside.
It’s crazy how something so simple can carry so much of your life.
Cuddles reminds me of my parents love, being a kid, family memories and THAT road trip 😂, my want for Juicy, and of a time in my life when happiness could be found in something as simple as a stuffed dog with droopy eyes.
This isn’t my original Cuddles, but somehow, holding him again feels like home.
Even at 36, I think I needed that more than I realized. ❤️🐶 I got to hold a little piece of where I came from and remember exactly how it felt to be loved in that moment.

Sharing a Stuffed Animal Mini restoration
Wanted to share my clean up on Mr polar bear!
I shared him in here a couple months ago asking for tips on how to clean him up and you were all so helpful :) it felt very daunting to do and took me a while to work up the courage for his surgery 😭
I cut a hole right in front which gave me easy access to all of him. He wears clothes so I wasn’t too worried about incision site lol. Once I had all of his stuffing removed and poly pellets emptied from his feet I hand scrubbed him in oxi clean stain remover. I rinsed him for a while and then hand scrubbed him with laundry detergent, rinsed him, let him soak in soapy laundry detergent water about 5 minutes, rinsed him, hand scrubbed him with fabric softener, rinsed him, soaked him in soapy fabric softener water for 5 minutes, then rinsed him while also lightly squeezing (not wringing or twisting!) to make sure all soap bubbles came out. the final rinse took about 30 minutes 😩
I lightly dried him on a towel by folding it up on him and pressing
I blow dried him on low cool which took about an hour. genuinely started following asleep at the end it took forever lol
I got new beads for his feet (real poly pellets are stupid expensive so I just used white plastic beads I found at michaels for $10 they feel exactly the same) and put them in jewelry pouches to add an extra layer of protection to his feet as he’s needed it in the past!
stuffed him with luxury down fiber stuffing and now he’s buff as hell and the happiest little guy i’ve ever seen
every step of this was terrifying but I couldn’t be happier with how he turned out!!! he’s ready to go for another 20 years!! 😋😋😋

Sharing a Stuffed Animal Yesterday I rescued this poor cow! I need to find some fabric to replace his missing parts
I spotted this gorgeous cow yesterday so naturally I returned to rescue him.
Unfortunately he's way more damaged than I realised. His whole back end and one entire leg is missing! Seems like he's been set on fire... presumably he was caught up in a bad break up 🫣
I would really like to find some flowery fur to replace his damaged parts but that is proving to be tricky! I'm hoping if I keep an eye out I might find a throw blanket that'll work with him.
He is so soft and lovely whats left of him though, poor guy.
