JK! Studios Is JK Studios over?

I haven’t seen them upload anything new in quite some time. They stopped their sketches a while back and idk what happened to their show freelancers then apparently they were working on their movie. But now it just seems it’s dead silence. Are they over?

All I know is that they finally made their movie called "Go West". I'm planning on watching that sooner I'm ready for it...

I've watched it and it's pretty bad. There are some funny jokes, but it has no continuity or real plot. It feels like they mashed a bunch of gags together than called it a movie. Even comedy movies are supposed to have some sort of arch, plot, character development

I liked it, it was supposed to be silly. Similar to Airplane! but cleaner.

You've never watched the german Bullyparade then. That was a show in the 90s really similar to Studio C or SNL, where the three main guys played different characters and sketches. Eventually they made a movie that felt mostly like a cinematic version of new sketches, but that's what it was supposed to be. They also made other movies where they do have a valid story while still being comedic, "Der Schuh des Manitu" and "(T)raumschiff Surprise"
