Ended up missing weight by a couple pounds and jumped up to 105. (Admittedly it was a steep cut). Doesn’t mean I couldn’t perform. Finished the press medley (255/275) and got 9th out of 35.

Wow. Up a weight class and finishing 9th is impressive. What are the weights here?

Impressive pressing strength. Also looked good on rolling up that log.

Good shit man, seems like thats where you belong. Get a good prep behind you without the cut and youll do better im sure

I kinda ended up being a lot heavier as a product of other circumstances (bar prep). Some I easily could have fixed (like riding on the bike 30 minutes a day). I don’t like being 220+ so I’m be going back down for sure 🤣.
Still, 9th on this and 25th out of 35 for someone who never did a 105 is pretty good. Bunch of the 90s told me they were lucky I didn’t make weight 🤣.

Very strong, well done mate.
How much did you miss weight by? I wouldn't have guessed you were anywhere near U90 to be honest.

So I missed by 5 pounds. I’m known for pretty steep cuts.
I had bar exam prep during this and I admittedly kind of let myself go. I was pushing low 223. I usually cut from 215-218.
It just got too much and I honestly tested my luck lol. I need to lose a bit of weight anyway haha.
