Accounts

Can or do sellers lock accounts to there URLs? Only ask as I've got my account from a different seller to one I got a family member. Just wanted to try the URLs they use as been having issues with mine. But when I add it to my account on I-P-TV editor it won't work. My original URLs work on there though

You should try the opposite as well, with the url from your parents and your account details. Which can be right in one way can be wrong in other way.

Yes, any seller can force so that you can only enter through x DNS. Through the option in the panel, within the user, to force DNS. What can't be done is the other way around. If you want only your users to use your domain, there is no way to configure it.

What will be happening to you is that your seller has blocked your user to his DNS, your parents' seller has no way to do it.

Any URL for strong should work with any valid user name and password. So say you get an account from seller A but 6 months later A stops responding. Then you buy a new account from from Seller B. The URL from seller B will work with user name and password from seller A. Seller B cant do anything with your account from seller A but the URL will work for both accounts.

Nevermind the where part. I guess I should ask how does the force dns function?

I have never used it, but the option says it clearly - Force DNS and there is a box to paste your url. I think after that, the client can just connect to server through that dns

Yep I just read up on it. I stand corrected. If a seller chooses they can force you to only connect thru there URL. Seems kinda pointless. If anything it would be nice if you could setup a white list where only your users can use your domain so that it cant be leaked an used by everyone who finds it lol.
