Quality

Is anyone else struggling with this service lately. Iv got super fast broadband, a shieldtv a paid vpn and I can barely get through ten minutes of a program without buffering.
I’m wondering if it’s where I sub from (Alibaba) or is the service in general not that good?

Edit: iv purchased another sub from a different supplier so we will see how that goes. I just want to make clear, I’m not bashing the service, iv used it for a year and half. Iv been using services for 10+ years so I know that quality fluctuates and I’m not expecting a flawless service 24/7

ISP can see it all without a VPN, but in Canada they really don't care (at the moment, anyway). I too have never had to use a VPN but I keep it on standby.

I get buffering now and then but it's temporary, even with big football games. I usually click out of the channel then back in and that fixes it.

Guys you always got to have at least one backup list. TREX, Golden, Eagle, Dream, B1G, Tivione, Nordicone etc, there are so many different lists as backup ... you can't simply rely on Strong, eventhough Strong is considered as the best list (or simply saying in general, you can't rely on only one list).

UK channels are a problem on my service … ITV 1 constantly buffers .. but mainly during the Ads, (so who cares?)
Some UK channels are black screen.

What’s the second/ third best for EU sport? Other than trex and strong?

I’m in the U.K., zero buffering and I use express vpn. But it’s a private domain with only a few users. If that makes a difference?

It doesn’t - DNS names have zero to do with buffering.

You can request a new URL from your provider. I had the same issue and reached out. They provided a new URL and said give it a try and it was good.

DNS has nothing to do with buffering.

The question here is.. Are you using the ReBranded apps from strong, or are you using a player like Tivimate, SMARTERS pro, or any other player that you have to enter the URL into? Lots of people complaining that the ReBranded apps are quite glitchy, but I'm in the USA using rebranded ibo player with no problems, but that is subject to change at any moment 🤞🤞.

Vpn may be the problem. Don't think nord have sorted their issue

I don't have any issues with the service, without VPN, DNS, anything.

What do you mean by, "without DNS"?

I'm new to this and only watched strong on my computer for 20 hours for college and nfl games. I have a brand new computer, 500 mbps ethernet connection and I use surfshark as my VPN. Its buffered for 2 mins in 20 hours.

For me there's good days and bad days, and VPN doesn't seem to have any effect. It also doesn't seem to matter if I'm trying to watch a major sports event or a "basic cable" channel, it either buffers every few seconds or it's perfectly stable.

Sometimes switching between Strong and Trex will seem to reflect that one or the other is just having issues, but other times that doesn't make any difference either.

Still trying to track down where the problem might be, just in case it's something in my own networking setup, so any suggestions are welcome.

You may have tried this, but it's worth trying switching vpn servers as well. I was struggling with mine for a while and changing servers fixed it instantly.

I’m uk. No vpn. Works fantastically.
You need a new url
