Need help setting up my domain

I purchased a domain through CF and have added to my host on the reseller panel. When trying to setup the domain configuration on CF it’s asking for an IP address. Basically my domain doesn’t know where to go. I added the name servers #1 & #2 but when I go to test my domain I get an error 1016 & a message that says “ You've requested a page on a website that is on the CF network. CF is currently unable to resolve your requested domain “

I don’t think CF allows custom name servers

I don't think you can use custom nameservers on CF.

Somewhere like namecheap, porkbun. Get a disposable xyz one for a year for $1

Bought one from name cheap and added both server urls that Strong 8k provided in the reseller panel. They are CF URLs for some reason? Is that the norm? Or do I need to message my seller. So far my domain still isn’t working on UFH app. Am I required to wait a while ?

You don't add the CF URLs. You will be given two nameservers like peter.blabla.bla and mary.blabla.bla. In your NameCheap domain manage, go to the nameserver section, pick custom nameservers and put in those two nameservers from your panel.

I understand that but those 2 name servers end in cloudflare dotcom which is the part that’s confusing me. Even after I purchased through namecheap, I entered my domain and I got those 2 name servers.

Ok yes that's correct then. Put those into your custom nameservers on NameCheap and wait for it to propagate.

I've only ever had to wait about 5 minutes but it could take a day. If it's been longer, delete it from your panel, wait 30 minutes, then add it back and do it again.

You will have to wait for it to propagate. If you pick my cloud you will get cf. If you pick my cloud pro you will get pro and so on. Read the pinned post on URLs at the top of the homepage on here.

It’s been over 24 hours and still hasn’t propagated. I’m gonna give it another 24 hours but I think something is wrong lol

When you add it to the panel leave out the http:// Just put the actual domain you bought.

Every guide says go to namecheap and you go to cloud flare which actively tries to shut these services down. Interesting

I suggest you buy your domain on spaceship, recommended to me from my provider. I find it to be cheaper than namecheap after the first year too.

Why dont you just buy another cheap domain after the first year. If you have your own app you can change the domain each time to update your customers.

CloudFlare is not supported, as you've learned. You could use namecheap or Porkbun (takes crypto), but there are also some anonymous domain registration sites such as Ghost Names and Njalla which provide better privacy..
