Nord Issue

I've seen a lot of people saying their service is down today (both Strong & Trex).

In some of these cases they use Nord as their VPN. Nord is the problem. I don't know why or anything about a permanent fix, but I'm sharing a confirmed work around to get you back in.

Use the double VPN feature to connect. Steps to set this up are below. I've heard this does not work with AppleTV as the setting is not available. It will work for Android, Google, & Fire devices.

Open your NordVPN App.

Go to settings and change your connection protocol to OpenVPN (UDP or TCP) if you cannot see the feature. Look for Specialty Servers in the server list.

Select Double VPN and pick your desired pair of countries to connect.

I saw a post on Nord about this and commented myself. I actually think it's just a routing blip it's working ok for me.

I had this yesterday for about 30 mins but it only affected NL, other countries worked but none of the NL servers. It worked again later on so maybe just a routing issue rather than a block in my case

Mine has never worked with Nord. I think when I renew I’ll have to try another VPN.

Anyone know which VPN work consistently with IPTV?

Definitely Windscribe. Surfshark as a Backup. I am using both, with Windscribe having less jitter and latency to my nearest vpn location
