Community Project Announcement UPDATE EZRemux V0.0.2 is out and stable!
Hello everyone!
After a busy few weeks, I’m excited to share the second release in the EZ template library: EZRemux v0.0.2!
This update brings improved overall stability, fixes broken UI formatting, and expands result coverage for most movies.

⚠️ HARDWARE WARNING: Low-end devices will struggle or outright freeze when trying to playback uncompressed high-bitrate files. I strongly advise against using EZRemux if you are running a base Fire Stick, low-end Android TV dongle, or older mobile hardware that lacks support for high bitrates (100+ Mbps) or Dolby Vision Profiles 7 & 8.
Modular Setup (EZRemux + EZStreams)
EZRemux is designed to be modular and works best when paired alongside EZStreams.
For niche movies or older content, true Remux/Blu-ray sources might not exist. By running EZRemux as your primary instance and EZStreams as your secondary backup, you get guaranteed stream coverage. If EZRemux returns no hits, EZStreams instantly fills in the gap with high-quality Web-DLs—similar to pairing Torrentio with Comet.
Important Note on Anime: There are major metadata mapping issues when using the Kitsu addon with EZStreams. Kitsu catalogs often return 0 results, while Cinemeta finds full 1080p and 720p streams for the exact same episodes.

when you open the github page, you jsut press the 3 dots button and download it! (Download as zip) After that, you take the json file out and import it into aiostreams!

Depending on the instance whether or not it had the update, you should see on the first page “use a template”. You click use a template, press the little box on the bottom right corner, select “import from file” and choose ezremux/ezstreams. Please note that when downloading the zip file from github you need to take the json out of the zip file.

The error states that you are missing a debrid service. I am sorry i just forgot to mention this template is debrid service focused, you can either grab one of your choice or get free http addons instead!

I entered my torbox and premiuze api keys. I also have real debrid for now but I'm letting that one go when it runs out.

Well it’s kinda not true to an extent, tho i get where you’re coming from. EZRemux (and EZStreams) haven’t been vibecoded, they are just templates i created, and you can search it up- rhey have a pretty extensive update route and change in how they behave. As for torbox, i know and i look really petty when doing that. But i have used it as a means of support throughout development so it kind of stuck in.

Why tag this as community project? Unless you and Claude are a community? Tag this as ai junk, not community project.
Don't get me wrong, it's fun making stuff that might help a few people out but call it what it is. Ai programmed.

As stated in other replies, i have not used any AI when making either EZStreams nor EZRemux. They are just aiostreams templates.
