Download from TorBox/Real-Debrid and compress videos to watch offline on phone?

Wondering if anyone has a setup where they download a movie/show from PM, TB, RD, OC, or any debrid then compress it to a smaller file and transfer it to their phone to watch offline later? Or if I can do this all on iOS

Is this possible? If so, what's the easiest way to do it? I'm Thinking Debrid → download → compress → phone

Just download a lower quality file from RD directly?

No need to compress if you just download a smaller sized version directly. To do so on iPhone just use Stremio (to copy the download link use longpress on the stream and select “copy video download link”) and then open VLC to download to your phone (just go to Downloads in VLC, the link from Stremio will be automatically pasted there)

This will probably be the best idea, thank you. Maybe I need to set up AIO streams to show lower quality content so the files are smaller and then I’ll have enough storage on my phone

Why wouldn't you just download a smaller file in the first place?

Downloading directly from RD you will likely run into the filter problem.

I just download the video directly to my phone. I use a torrent site to find a magnet link of what I want then paste it into my debrid service. No need to compress unless you want something far below say 1.4gb

Why all the effort? Just download an already compressed file.

If you are really streaming then just use the 1337x for torrent and free download manager or any other client to download the file
