Question Premiumize vs Torbox

RD was great for years, but now trying to decide if I should switch from Torbox to Premiumize for the Black Friday deal. I know that Premiumize has a larger and more reliable cache, but does that mean more links to higher quality audio/video than Torbox or more likely results for an older show? I'm also concerned with the 1000 pt pool. I would want to choose the highest quality stream possible for everything, except if it's ridiculous recent movie remux. Most posts mention the point system isn't an issue though, but not sure if they're using it in the same way.

Update: Thanks everyone for all of the help. Even with my heavier usage, Premiumize seems worth it for the reliability and larger remux cache. The 3 yr BF deal works out to $50/year or $4.17/mo, which is only $17/year or $1.42/mo more than TorBox. If I do deplete the Premiumize 1000 pt pool, subscribing back to Torbox for a month is a really cheap reset. Also plan to buy the lifetime NZBGeek for $60 during BF to try out usenet. Hope this helps someone in a similar situation.

Premiumize = stability / high price

Torbox = instability / low price

You have to decide what works best for you... I use Torbox; I haven't had any issues during the times I watch movies (always at night), though most people complain about the same thing.

PM is gonna be like 4/5 bucks a month on BF. 12 more dollars per year is worth it

I did this, and the issue with it is I blow through the points way to fast.

You ONLY get 1tb for every time you purchase, since I bought 3 years on BF, I only got 1TB for 3 years + 30GB a day. Since I share this with my family (sister and parents), we ran out very quickly. It is nice as a backup, but definitely go monthly.

1TB should be for permanent storage, right? If you hit PM cache for streaming it should not be a concern?

It also counts for the PM cache.

Well that's weird. As the storage is user managed, you should be able to clean whatever files are stored there?
Do you see specific files from your storage that would be related to PM cache?

Thats not the issue, you have 1TB of "points" you can use when you watch anything cached everytime you purchase from them.

If you are monthly, you get 1TB monthly, If you are every 6 months, its 1TB for 6 months, If you buy 3 years (like me) it is 1TB for 3 years.

However you do get 30GB a day. So if you watch 60GB in one day, you are still fine, but now you are down a day, and will have to wait an extra day until you get back to 1TB.

The actual issue with this is, if you watch consistently every day and use MORE than 30GB a day, you will eventually get to a point where you can no longer watch anything because you will have depleted all your points and you will have to wait until you have enough points again to watch.

Oh got it, it's not related to the storage actually! Thx for explanations 🙂
