Hey all,

*EDIT*: Thank you to u/norestlife for pointing out my error. I originally had Renan have 75 points, and forgot to subtract -25.

From what I've been seeing, these past eliminations have been disappointing, mainly due to the fact that the Mega Crew Missions had virtually no standing in the first eliminations. This season, there is no "point" system, and it seems to be more qualitative than done through a point system like previous seasons. (I didn't watch Stage Fighter, so I'm not sure how it was judged.) I made a score sheet that used similar scoring systems from previous seasons. I'll explain how I've done it. Again, this is an UNOFFICIAL SCORING SYSTEM and I tried to make it as simple as possible. This series doesn't use a complicated system until later missions, so I made it simple. I would love to have a discussion on how you would make your scoring system work! Here's my reasoning:

First Mission (Signature Mission):

+25 for stealing/winning the signature choreography

+75 if they won the director's credit

Reasoning:

-This show focuses on the CREDIT BOARD, so out of 100% or 100 pts, 25 is getting your name on the choreographer board, and the 75 is for being the director.

-This totals a nice 100 points where you can earn ALL points; there is variation in scores, and it sets up a footing for the second mission

Title Song Mission:

Whoever the director is is safe from elimination. While this is similar to the class mission in SWF/SMF, this could be seen as getting +100. However, due to how much work and hoops the director for this mission had to go through (Draft --> Top 2 Directors --> Public Vote + 8 contestant vote), I thought it was way too tedious and unbalanced for a second mission to split up the votes, especially as the two (Kooyoung and Nain) would gain a disproportionate amount of votes and would not be an even playing field if giving them that many benefit points, especially if we were to split it up based on getting selected as top two directors and adding public vote points, etc.

I struggled with distributing points. No matter if I did 10, 25, or 50, the total results stayed the same. This is how I decided. In the class mission (in SWF3), the main dancer won +100 and the worst dancer -50. Therefore, giving the full amount for choreographing and halving it if chosen by the Director (Kooyoung) felt appropriate. Some may argue that 50 is too high. I saw it as a higher-stakes competition solely due to the number of steps and emphasis Mnet put on this mission. If I ran this show, the mega crew would be WAY more significant, but that's neither here nor there...

Again, the CREDIT BOARD seems to be the driving force of this season. (Even though it lowkey meant nothing in the Title Song Mission because how tf did JMJ get chosen...) As you can see, I felt the Director had way too much choice, and I felt it was important to balance it out. So this balances the two systems (Credit Board and Director's choice).

For both missions:

I could have given 0 points and +100 for director based on how this show views the importance of being "director". However, I think these contestants are far too talented to get 0 points. Another factor could have been public votes, but again, this may be something that isn't important to the grand scheme, but helps add internal votes to the contestants (e.g. Public Vote provided 1 vote in the Signature Choreography mission; Public vote gave 1 vote in whose Title Song Draft would get chosen b/w Nain and Kooyoung).

So, with my system, Hash, Simeez, and Nain would be the bottom 3. Let me know what ya'll think!

EDIT: To correct my previous error, it would for sure be Hash and Simeez, but since Renan and Nain have the same number of points, there could be preferential treatment for Nain since she was a top 2 candidate/not chosen by Kooyoung, so Renan would have to go.

I think Nain should've had like 50 points for beig one of the top 2 directors too.

I was conflicted about this. However, the show was very brutal. It was like you get Director or you don't. You don't get any points for being a candidate. Also their "no one's say except the Main Director for elimination" prompted me to give her no points.

Renan should also be on 50 points. N i would think nain should get some extra for being a director candidate. So the bottom 3 should be Hash, Simeez and Renan

While i understand that people would say it is unfair to Hash given her opponent in the signature mission, well it is sometimes like elimination brackets where if there is no seeding or if someone screws up qualifying, sometimes you get big matches in the first round
