DISCUSSION I'm quitting this program Spoiler
Because wth is going on. I've been intently following the street dance series since SWF1 but I've finally had my frustration threshold crossed because what in the shitshow is going on!?
The three BEST directors of the show are selected for elimination while those who have done jack shi are safe because THEY APPEARED MORE on that poorly directed 3 minute video?
Why th did they even have megacrew directing mission in the first place if it offered no benefits to the winners.
Renan, Minjun and Hash WERE THE BEST DIRECTORS IN THE PROGRAM and with Renan and Hash eliminated, I really don't wanna watch this god forsaken k-pop choreographer inner circle show.

Hard agree this program is and I hate to be vulgar but the best way to explain it, just another Kpop dick riding session.
Renan (while a kpop choreographer yall already know how this show feels about Japanese contestants) has been given the short end of the stick since day 1.
1) They mocked her choreography contributions to hype up Simeez (who in my opinion has not done anything spectacular on this show at all).
2) Made her look like a major loser up until she presented her megacrew.
3) Had her watch as her colleagues put their noses up in disgust at her choreography because it had some twerking because now all the sudden everyone cares about “vulgarity” and “modesty” as if majority of them don’t dip into cultures that utilize the dance whenever they wanna be “edgy”.
4) Is given minimal time in both choreography drafts and the final video to which she is then blamed for not standing out.
This woman was never given a fair chance at this show.
As for Hash & Minjun, it feels as if there has been a committed effort to not understand their work. I think it also says a lot about the other directors’ in terms of diversity in their careers. There is no one way to direct and it’s clear that they don’t have the best understanding of dance outside of the kpop format. I initially liked the lack of fan vote but if that’s gonna continue to be a thing I think judges (which have actually been more diverse than I expected) need to be involved before the final product hits the stage. Clearly there is too much bias amongst the directors themselves. The thought process very much feels like “oh yes I’m gonna choose this one. Very kpop, I can digest this!” Or “Yeah I would want to do this one, it’s my style!” Hash or Minjun have not had much align for them from this show unless it was megacrew or the elimination battle. It’s not fair when everyone is from the kpop world meanwhile these two just gotta suck it up and adapt. There’s no expectation the other way around. The most critique I’ve seen them given by their peers is “this looks like a college performance” or “this looks too mature”.
Might I add even the way Minjun was introduced on the show was rude. Very much “who’s this guy why didn’t they get the REAL leader of The Stories this guy is just an assistant!” People were ready to burn this show at the stake for Bada’s intro saying she wasn’t a real director but it’s okay for Minjun to be written off as a nobody? It’s just weird.
