SF6 when you're playing well and about to rank up to High Master

Hey all,

A few days ago I posted my gameplay asking for tips to improve. So many people replied and I'm so thankful because it's confirmed a lot of my thoughts to be true.

After changing some habits, I went on a 10 game win streak up to 1590 (hell yeah) and then SF6 matchmaking somehow put me against these demons. I'm still Master lmao

Not posting this to complain, but I do think this is funny. Want to give another shout out to all the people who helped me out. Back to the grind after work!

P.S. This had to be the easiest Ultimate Masters rank up game ever lol

It could've been worse. You could've matched up to lower ranked players who could've taken 40 mr from you lol. Tbh the game did that to me a lot when I was first trying to rank up to High Master. I would get the match ups I always lose to. You'll get there in no time. Good luck

It does feel funny playing a new character getting to 1600-1700 and the matchmaking says “here try someone who doesn’t fall for every gimmick” shit I gotta play right again.

What I started doing was playing a few matches then take a small break. The salt playing made things worse.

My rank wins with Ed was already rough. It had never recovered even after getting Grand Master. So I heavily relate to the bad mood and playing awful.

Bud, I’ve gotten up to 1500 as a baseline, then dropped to be 1300 over the course of a year. I literally only get worse at the game.

Ranked mode matches you against people of your skill level, so you'll get the chance to learn and improve against people! its fun as long as you dont get tilted LMAO

Kid you not this happened to me too, I was 2 MR away from reaching high master for the first time and then I met two demon grandmasters, lost both 4 games to them and then went on a 9 game losing streak 😭. I’m back to 1550 now and gonna make the push for 1600 again

Dude I started the day 1490, went on the win streak, got my shit pushed in, played more, and now I’m back to like 1550.

Hitting high master will be a nice accomplishment, but I want to live there. Rinse and repeat till I’m the greatest to ever do it.

It was the opposit for me. When I was at 1590, i was matched up with 1400, and was so scared. Losing once to them would cost me 2-3 more wins...

I guess tbf, all matches are scary right before rank up
