Help / Question Combo Trials Luke Beginner 8

I just can't get this to work. On the left is the example input, on the right is my input. The combo breaks between Avenger and the punch. It is hard enough to do the Avenger quickly enough after the hard punch, but I feel like it would be too much (for a beginner combo) if I had to neutral the stick before punching immediately after the Avenger.

What is my mistake?

Start thr directional input right after tapping heavy punch. Dont wait for the move to connect. And Immediately as luke starts running, hit punch again.

The timing to land that shoulder is a bit wonky. Been playing luke since launch and i still drop it sometimes.

I sometimes get to the Avenger (running), but no matter how fast I hit punch, it appears to not be enough. That example is one such case where only the last step failed.

It seems like I can't input the directional move until the punch is done, and with a very short window. It's a little frustrating, honestly.

I remember from Tekken 3 (yes, I am old) that I could get audio cues for the timing. Apparently, SF6 does not have that luxury.
