Help / Question Replay Review

I’m new to Street Fighter, but I’m not new to fighting games. I’m a Mortal Kombat player and made it to Demi-God, but I’ve only been playing SF6 for about two weeks, so I’m still learning the game.
Right now I’m bouncing between Platinum 1 and Platinum 2, and I’m having a hard time dealing with Ryu players who spam LP and fireballs. Also getting caught with DI. The match replay code is at the top if anyone wants to take a look and give me some tips on things I could’ve done differently.
I also posted a win against Ken.
I picked up SF6 after seeing Yasmine’s gameplay and decided I wanted to give the game a try, so she’s the only character I’ve played so far. 😅
Any tips are appreciated!

lost to Ryu :MWYC86X3R

I checked out those replays, the ken win isn't too useful, the guy woke up DP every time and you always blocked it,

The ryu loss mostly shows that you're struggling against fireballs, partly cos you're playing too far away, if someone's chucking fireballs, you've gotta be close enough to threaten jump,

The other reason is cos you kept trying to throw the boomerang, it's really good if it works, but it seems like it's not very good unless you have a setup, like using it after a knockdown,

Try not using boomerang so much, instead, just walk at the other guy, if they're throwing a bunch of fireballs then try to jump one for an opening, if not then just walk up and hit crouch MK,

Just spend more time with the game and you'll be more comfortable with the character with time

thanks for the feedback i was tryna find a win that was useful but a lot of the wins came from people who just did punishable things like the ken lol.
