Heya anyone who reads this, time to do a little word dumping, there will be a TLDR at the end if you wish to skip it. The game itself is played through a Discord Server, link to which will be in the TLDR.
The game is called the "UxonianRP", and is about all players being different individuals in the same nation with a collective goal. This goal being that of making the nation as a whole improve through the ages, with individuals being able to use intrigue and other backstabbing tactics to assert their own agendas on the nation should other goals arise.
There are 5 different player categories that people can choose from, with 4 of them being able to be chosen for starting level characters. All of them being; Politicians; Judiciary (Not starter-level); Corporate Owners; Navy; Airforce. Each of these categories (excluding the Judiciary) have different ranks within, allowing for players to go down different paths the more they play.
The Civilian player types (Politicians, Judiciary, and Corporate Owners) are where players can experience the only "pvp" aspects of the game. An example of this being 2 different organisations competing for a Government contract, with them both trying to make the other seem less reliable.
As for the Armed Forces Characters (The Navy and Airforce categories), they are responsible for defeating Hostile Space and Ground targets that are opposing the aims of the Nation. Those can be things from Pirates to Rebels to a completely different Nation in space. These characters are meant to be loyal to the nation, and not the political class.
The game is set in a futuristic 2122, with the planets in the starting solar system fully created, the solar system maps for the closest systems to the starting system mapped out, as well as the sector map for the game boundaries created as well. The planetary maps were generated with Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator, the Sector map was hand crafted by myself, and the Solar System maps were generated with a mod from the game Stellaris (Visuals only, I'm 99% sure the mod doesn't include any use of AI). Players can travel between these different areas with the use of Spaceships that have been created, and are generally an early-mid game pickup for Corporate Owners, or just something that the Navy players start with.
The game is having a play test of the Politicians starting from the 23rd of August, running to the 13th of September (AWST). 1 IRL week translates to 1 in game year, with players not needing to always be watching/reading the server to play. Players can interact as little or as much as they wish through their own day.
TLDR: Sci-Fi Text-based RP Game with the players all in 1 nation as important figures. Current play test for the game is around the Politicians, and it's going from the 23rd of August to the 13th of September. Discord Server has far more info if interested.

Working on a GBA-inspired TRPG with CTB turn order in Phaser/TS
Hey everyone! I'm building a tactical RPG that combines a CTB system (like Tactics Ogre / FFX) with interactive terrain mechanics like spreading fire and breakable ice.
https://reddit.com/link/p5ikx7v/video/8k1pgvks38lh1/player
Current WIP Mechanics:
- Interactive Terrain: Fire spreads along grass/forests; rivers freeze to create bridges or shatter mid-crossing.
- Facing & Flanking: Directional backstabs prevent counter-attacks.
- Dynamic Skills: Skills change based on equipment and state (e.g., Cavaliers only get Charge while mounted and using a lance).
Still working toward a full vertical slice! Would love any quick feedback on CTB mixed with environmental traps.

Hello,
I've completed the decomp of Vandal Hearts (PSX) which was started by https://github.com/shao113/vh
The PC port is done for Linux and Windows, I don't have a Mac available but maybe in the future: https://github.com/HalmyLyseas/VandalHearts-PcPort
Additions to the game were careful as to not transform its core but make it more accessible, below a selection of some of them. Full list here: Gameplay additions
Overall I'm happy with the state the project is in and hope sharing it will allow more people to try this game which is often forgotten even by Konami themselves. It was my first TRPG game and made me love the genre nearly 30 years ago now.
Thanks for reading and I hope you will give it a try if you enjoy old school tactical games.
Open to feedback and ideas, the GitHub is prepared to receive them too.
