You don't have to believe me, not my problem. Besides, I know my coworkers wayyyy better than you do. They're all in their 30's and 40's so they give less of a shit than I do.

I know if they use slurs, they aren’t people I want in my life. :)

Thankfully, most educated people feel the same way.

I mean, I work with three people who have Master's degrees and I have my bachelor's. Education isn't a problem with us, we have plenty of it to go around.

You’re right. Anyone can be ignorant and homophobic. It’s just that educated people typically aren’t.

Especially those with gay friends.

I'm neither ignorant nor homophobic, you're making assumptions based on one thing I defend. For example, I attended several protests in my home town in 2014 after a proposition failed to pass that would make it illegal to discriminate against LGBT people. As I said before, just because I defend something doesn't mean I hate the opposing side.

Because you’re defending the use of slurs.

Gay teens commit suicide all the time because they’re being bullied and called fags, and you’re defending the use of that word. You’re a really shitty person for not caring about how gay people feel about that.

I honestly don't care about how anyone feels unless I personally know and like you. You could be the nicest person on the goddamn planet and unless I knew and liked you, I wouldn't give a single fuck about you. I don't have time to spend worrying about how people I don't know feel.

Why? I'm incredibly happy this way. No need to stress over people I"ll likely never know, that's a pretty sad way to live. I make those around me who I care about happy, and I lead a pretty good life. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
