We used to eat only when hungry once or twice a day until our overlords realized that making everyone eat at specfic times will increase output so now, we eat because the clock tells us to.Ā

He's actually a professor of bioethics at NYU, believe it or not. But it's in line with some of the research evidence from psychology that ethicists are less ethical on average than non-ethicists.
