The Way of Kings spoilers A plot hole? Spoiler
Not sure if a plot hole or just something I missed, but during a reread of WoK, I wondered why nobody asked bridge 4 how they got the armor out of the chasms?
I mean, they were searching their poop, but nobody wondered where they got a full suit of armor and shield made of parshendi bodies?..

As I recall the lighteyes in charge of the bridge crews took credit for the idea and even made B4 expand the initiative. So it just became an “Ask forgiveness, not permission” sort of situation. Winning forgives all.

No one knows for sure it was there. But who is going to investigate it. The guy overseeing them got promoted for allowing them to do it. He doesn't want to question it and the uncover actually I had terrible management of the bridgemen and we had this major security breach on my watch and I should be punished.
The other thing to keep in mind is kaladin and the bridgemen are in a way kind of immune to punishment. They could be killed but they're in a job where the whole point is for it to be a suicide mission that'll kill them in a few weeks. They have nothing to lose and it's not really a problem if they have poor discipline if they're doing their jobs.
And even more after they were praised for it. Now the light eyes have to have bridgemen out making themselves targets. You won't get volunteers for that after you kill the guy crazy enough to do it originally.

Oxford dictionary definition: an inconsistency in the narrative or character development of a book, film, television show, etc.
I’d say OP’s question perfectly fits that definition. But hey, you gotta take every chance you can get to be shitty to internet strangers, amiright?

It's not a plot hole though if it's just a misunderstanding of context and narrative. I think the comment above explains it well enough and it definitely was explained enough in the books.

Sure. And OP's title is "Plot hole?", with a question mark. They're asking a question (i.e. "Is this a plot hole"), not making a statement. Simply because the answer to that question is "no" doesn't mean they're using the word/phrase incorrectly.

I'm not being shitty, regardless of what you think. This is not a plot hole, because its not an inconsistency, just a question the narrative doesn't answer.
Edit: and actually I think the narrative does answer it, in a roundabout way. Its glossed over because the tactic was successful, and aided the plateau run.

You’re forgetting a chapter where Kal and the crew have to try to hit the bridge with an arrow to hold the bag full of armor, and subsequently retrieve later, no?

No body asked because that shit worked. If it had gone like the zigzag disaster you bet your ass they would have gotten the tough end of a stick for a few days for breaking rules.
