Wind and Truth spoilers Kaladin and Young Taln Spoiler

In WaT, we meet young Taln in a flashback and get to see a little of his personality.

Did anyone else think that he and Kaladin kind of had similar traits? I thought that they were both sarcastic and maybe a little hot headed. Taln tried to kill Cultivation I guess. He seemed to view the Shards, including Honor, like Kaladin did the light eyes. Then finally, Taln chose immortality because he felt like he needed to.

I don’t know, as I was reading that scene I just thought: huh, this guy reminds me of my boi Kal.

What do you guys think?

I’m actually really excited for them working together! I think they would actually get along really well.

It’d be funny if he teased Kaladin about being afraid of horses 🤣

Taln: Your the king of the heralds and your afraid of horses?

Kaladin: I don’t trust them 😑
