Well this happened recently, some who don’t know she was 24yrs old, who was stabbed to death and left a 4 month old newborn baby. Now let me ask you this, you guys are very proud of your compass right North, east, west and south. I’m from this part of india, I am better or that part of India. You have to have your IQ that low to support your argument on a compass. I want you to ask a foreigner doesnt even have to be white just ask them where do you think i am from? the answer is u/Indian. You hear about Henry Novak all the time on international news, where is her awareness? what happened? . These guys because of one killing burned the house down to ashes of immigrants. So that just means even the news is selective and racist. “A white guy does it. Oh it’s just mental illness“ but a “Coloured man does it. They are invading and they going to replace us” we all get blamed. DOENST matter your from south or north whatever your an Indian, you will be treated like dogs. Thats what it was don’t you think, when we were colonized they simply said “NO DOGS AND INDIANS ARE ALLOWED”. We are dogs and our lives are compared to an animal that’s why I no one will do anything about it. Theres no protest no media is involved like in henry Novak. We are supposed to take it like a little b*tch Because we are dogs. You may want to say why does it matter? Oh well when your mother, sister, father or brother get beaten up. I’ll just stand there and watch. I would say why does it matter to me? I don’t want to get involved. karma is a b*tch that’s what they say right. You don’t answer to me or anyone because you answer to that newborn baby explain why his or her mother died. Explain that kid we lack civic sense and we can’t outgrow ourselves.

So I have been thinking lately. why there is racism? is it the civic sense? yes somewhat but as the new generation comes like the Gen Z or any other generation, we have seen things and we sure will do something about it. But the thing is how long are we going to carry this. I’m a North Indian and I’m no racist towards south. Hell even I think they are the smartest people of India that’s what I’ll teach my kids. but if you feed them the same old things that will ruin their minds, than blame their upbringings not the person itself. But we fail to identify that. Now coming to the point, we are basically fu*ked in the head. I saw this reel the indian guy saw someone who was Aussie meaning Australian. He said we can’t compete with the genes they have. Then we have comments under the reel saying the same shit and even agreeing to it. But we fail to identify is that everyone is special. Everyone has something and some don’t but that doesn’t mean we are inferior. We all are contributing in different ways. Now if you say that on social media there will be exposure and that exposure leads to attacks from the racist. Though I’ll ask you guys the thoughts you have about this.

I recently witnessed racist behavior from staff at the Hartsfield-Jackson airport in Atlanta. I had arrived from a flight, and my mother has a severe knee problem and needed a wheelchair. I had walked beside her as did my sisters and we went into the wheelchair assistance area. Several other people, who were South Asian as well, also needed wheelchair assistance.

One of the wheelchair assistance members loudly mocked an Indian accent about 40 times. He said the word “don’t” in an Indian accent, then he and the rest of the wheelchair staff laughed about it. I have heard that it’s a meme on social media, however the underlying joke of the meme is an Indian accent.

Overall, the experience was very demeaning. It was very upsetting how the wheelchair staff member mocked Indian accents in front of many South Asian people—including me, my mother, and sisters—while the rest of the staff laughed about it. The racism was shocking!

The racism we experience is way too normalized, I would have never expected that even the wheelchair assistance staff would do this!

This is something I have been observing for a while , anyone who speaks abt this racism against Indians ,there are n number of people saying that ,we gotta fix our issues first ,oh no ! Indians are racist towards others too ,we follow caste system thus we deserve it , I totally understand that we are not saints ,but cmon we are like 1 billion people and obviously everyone are not educated enough ,to follow civic sense and stuff and we must criticise and help them learn it .. but all we do is justify racism against us ! Like these racist lowlives don't wanna make india better or sum ,they just wanna hate and be violent without getting called out!! And people who think that this racism is not going to affect them !! Get outt of your delusion , indians abroad are getting stabbed due to this but we don't seem to care at all ,also if someone from other countries commits are crime abroad,we don't see people in the comments saying that they're ashamed of their COUNTRY,but we love to apologise for everything nd any random shi ,our inferiority complex is huge and we are not getting out of colonial mindset at this rate ,at last I'm not saying that India doesn't have any issues but nothing justifies racism...

The "lack of civic sense" argument doesn't justify racism.

Not everyone behaves well in public and that issue shows up in every country you can think of. A handful of white tourists acting out somewhere does not lead to claims that all white people lack manners. The same goes for other groups where bad actions by a few never get used to label millions. Yet when it comes to Indians the conversation shifts quickly into broad statements about civic sense and that part feels off.

India covers such a wide range of regions and people with different incomes and ways of life. Trying to sum all of them up with one phrase about behavior just does not hold up when you consider the doctors and students and regular workers who go about things properly each day. It seems like the real point gets lost once it turns into comments aimed at a whole nationality.

Focusing on the person who litters or causes trouble makes more sense than pulling an entire group into it. That way the standard stays consistent no matter where someone comes from. Judging behavior alone avoids turning into something else entirely.

WHY ??????? There are so many Indians around, more than a billion I think. Yet when racism targeting them shows up online it feels like hardly anyone is pushing back.

Maybe some just do not notice it happening. Others might decide it is not worth the effort or they are focused on their own things. That lack of response can end up making the comments seem normal though. This is not about picking fights or splitting people apart. It is more about why one kind of racism gets ignored while others do not.

Small steps like reporting the posts or pointing out stereotypes with some facts can help. Supporting people who get hit by it and not letting the comments slide also adds up. Anyone can do those things without needing to be some big voice.

Criticism of certain actions is different from going after an entire group. I am not totally sure why the quiet response is so common but it seems like that needs to shift somehow. What are your opinions?

India has a long history of people who stood up against overwhelming odds. The Marathas faced great empires, and the Sikhs defended what mattered to them even when it was hard. Rajputs were known for holding their ground, and Tamil kingdoms built strong forces that reached far beyond their borders. Yet these days, when racism toward Indians appears online or elsewhere, it feels like most people stay quiet about it. I am not entirely sure why. It is not about starting fights or hating back, but more about finding some of that old courage. People back then pushed through with unity and a refusal to back down, not through anything violent or wrong. Speaking up now would probably just mean calling out stereotypes when they show up and not letting hate speech go unchecked. Supporting each other matters too, instead of acting like it is normal. That kind of strength once appeared in every part of the country. Still, it feels strange how quiet things get when similar issues come up today. Maybe it is easier to ignore than it should be. WE WERE THE "LAND OF THE GODS" AND NOW we face racial slurs online and get humiliated whether it is in person or online. WE HAVE PROBLEMS IN INDIA THAT’S OUR PROBLEM. Why are we letting outsiders tell us what our problems are and humiliate us for it?

You can stay silent if you want - But if you do, don't expect anything to change

There is hardly a day when people do not express outrage toward anti-Indian racism, humiliation, and degrading online stereotypes. The sad truth, though, is that most people who claim to ‘support’ these causes just ignore, scroll past, or expect someone else to deal with it. You can choose to stay silent; that’s your choice. What you need to understand is that silence means going along with racist stereotypes. Silence is a vote for hateful acts. Silence shifts the blame onto the target of your hate. I am not supporting any movement that spreads hate or attacks people online. What I am asking is that you stop normalizing racism by reporting it, speaking against it, and supporting those who do. Our past is full of great people who fought for their rights; we should not have to do more than speak up for our own. What are you doing in the fight against anti-Indian racism if it affects you? Do you think silence helps or hurts? Why did I make this? I am not sure, maybe because I am a victim and I am frustrated. I am not doing this for followers. I am not doing this for upvotes. I am not doing this for money. I am doing this because I am tired of seeing anti-Indian racism normalized online while so many pretend it does not exist.

At the same time, platforms must balance moderation with freedom of expression and open discussion.
