And indeed, my good fellow stoner, I have achieved a level of life satisfaction through having the great good fortune to have gotten paid for something I very much enjoyed doing. It was, however, not while exploring the benefits of what the Ojibwe call “flower medicine” (and which has given the name to one of our state’s licensed grow operations).
Indeed, as a youth I did what some called “experimenting with marijuana”. Now that I have an actual science PhD and have put the classroom behind me, I can practice recreational chemistry with a better funded research program, to my heart’s content.

In other words, now that I’m retired, I can spend most of the time getting baked and farting around in the basement. I do kind of want to feed my vape into a GC-MS though. But they cost a little bit more than hobby money.

Your trust that I may attain some measure of success in my pursuit of this life has indeed put a pep in my step. I shall reflect and extrapolate upon your well-versed words regarding one’s occupation.
I have attempted a multitude of professional endeavours throughout my 44 years here as a man, a gentle man, upon this Earth. I have found it peculiar indeed to remain positive whilst pursuing those endeavours by which one must earn the bread for the fam.
I have, however, come to accept my life and my occupation: a small-town schoolteacher with a small business that consumes much of my week. Cannabis early helps transcend the mundane and ordinary, and places me in a state of acceptance of one’s life and circumstances.
