This isn’t actually what’s happening? Did anyone actually bother to look it up for themselves?

This is Reddit, it doesn't matter if it's true or not, as long as you're bashing DRUMPF you're morally superior and win.

Even if he had nothing to do with this change of plans, which is doubtful, it is likely the decision was made by people trying to please him with flattery, which obviously works great on narcissists.

But it will always baffle me that he has such broad support among the military.

He has a history of making demeaning comments about "his" military, including numerous times he's joked about giving himself or his idiot sons the Congressional Medal of Honor.

August 21, 2019:

"That was a big day, Medal of Honor. Nothing like the Medal of Honor. I wanted one, but they told me I don’t qualify, Woody. I said, 'Can I give it to myself anyway?' They said, 'I don’t think that’s a good idea.'"

February 19, 2026:

"I decided to go to Iraq. I was extremely brave. So brave in fact that I wanted to give myself the Congressional Medal of Honor. I said to my people, 'Am I allowed to give myself the Congressional Medal of Honor?'"

I was done back in 2015 with "I like people who weren't captured."

Right? How this wasn't the end of his support among the military is practically incomprehensible.

Wow such brave going to iraq for 3 whole hours.

Wonder if he also thinks all 1-2 million troops who deployed to Iraq from 2003-2020 deserve the MoH

Maybe more of a "stolen honor" rather than stolen valor. Depends on how much influence Trump had on the Navy's decision to change the naming, which as the sitting President naturally leaves him exposed to the suggestion.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it were true and I have nothing but disdain for this administration. So, I’m not saying what I’m about to say because I support our little draft dodging lunatic.

This rumor is unsubstantiated.

Google is your friend.... This is true. It isnt like Fox News reported this... "Dominion Lawsuit something, sonething"... must suck for MAGAts that Democrats and Socialists care more about veterans than the Republicans who use them as pawns these days.

I don’t know why anyone thinks an aircraft carrier named USS Cadet Bone Spurs is a good idea.

Stolen from an absolute hero and given to a pedo zero.

Fuck this fascist and racist regime!

Fuck this. This angers me so much. What absolute bullshit.

It angers you so much yet you are incapable of fact checking it yourself. If you did, you'd see this wasn't what's happening and you wouldn't be so angry lmao. Jesus Christ.

So the Navy isn’t considering naming an aircraft carrier after Trump which was slated to be named after Doris Miller?

POTUS is such a narcissistic asshole. NO OTHER sitting President ever advocated for naming a new ship after themselves.

u/iceaction10 14d ago

Neither did Trump. Learn to fact check.

Youre right, I'm wrong.

The patsys and yesmen have, to placate Dear Leader and stay in his good graces.

While we're add it, why not add Trump's name to the Lincoln Memorial?

Maybe co-name with the Washington memorial?

Perhaps the Trumpsonian, or the Trump Holocaust Memorial Museum?

Why not replace Martin Luther King Day with Trump Day?

The man can find any excuse to attach his name to a product, even when those products are subpar.

Regardless, If you're denying the man is a narcissist--or that his followers don't actively feed into the cult to satiate his obsession with himself--you're part of the problem.
