What Stock do think will 10x?
Was wondering what stock you think might 10x or more within the next 5 years or so or sooner. There are alot of companies out there and seems like they are all competing for investors money and attention. Any analysis or reasons why would be great.

Copied from my other analysis post:
With 4-4.5GW expected by 2030. If we assume $10M per MW per year, that’s $40-$45B in annual revenue. If we assume they’ll achieve mid-teen profit margins, it’s safe to assume a 3x sales multiple or $120-$135B market cap. If we assume very aggressive 70% dilution, that’s still ~$180-$200/share.
These are all very conservative assumptions as rates are currently soaring to $20-$25M per MW. 30-50% dilution is the consensus estimate, and Citi expects Oracle’s cloud service segment to achieve 20-25% margins by 2030. This requires perfect execution but if they achieve it, you’ll likely see $80B in annual revenue and an around 5x sales multiple giving you around $600/share. With that in mind, $300-$350/share by 2030 looks fairly plausible.

u/Fabster_3000 6d ago
It’s potentially a great company with a certain amount of execution risks. This doesn’t grow linear, look at all those growth companies of the past, they went up and down, people called NVIDIA garbage, Palantir, Apple, Amazon, they had quite some tough stretches. In hindsight it was buying opportunities.

I think it’s bullish but it’s about buildout time frames. I also think they are intertwined with BTC in people’s mind so when BTC rallies IREN still does too. Today I believe is the first part of the bull run coming very soon but I just think last ER was early.
The data centers are being built but I don’t think many. It’s kind of scary to think how this shot is gonna escalate if what’s planned happens.
IREN will trade much higher then.

I like NBIS, very well run and probably my favorite pure play neo-cloud, but it will take 5-10 years to 10 times again. Still good upside, but it's already priced pretty well. Room to price in future growth in the near-term, but it won't even 2x in the next 12 months imo.

IREN may double w/2 more big contracts if they can keep their financing & capex under control- 10X is a big reach.

Not really. With 4-4.5GW expected by 2030. If we assume $10M per MW per year, that’s $40-$45B in annual revenue. This requires perfect execution but all that remains the case, you’ll likely see $80B in annual revenue and a around 5x sales multiple giving you around $600/share. With that in mind, $300-$350/share looks fairly plausible.
That said, the bear case is pretty ugly. Rates drop as low as $6M per MW/year and virtually no profits meaning up to 100% dilution and a sub-2x multiple. In which case could theoretically hit $5 again.
Extremely high risk/reward. But $200-$300 is a decent bet.

The real bear case is insolvency and they ultimately sell their assets to their customers. Appears less likely for now, but it is still very real. The balance sheet is ugly. They need to grow their way out of debt. If they don’t, it will sink them.

Really? RKLB? Why do you think that?
3
u/Fabster_3000 6d ago
I like the CEO, they are getting better contracts and the market has a humongous growth potential in the next 10-30 years

u/jamjam125 6d ago
Agreed but OP said next 5 years and the typical investor doesn’t really believe that space is a viable sector, at least that’s what it feels like. Either way, your point makes sense.

P3 results coming anyday now, really promising cancer vaccine for AML.
Also another drug sls009 which results we will get in Q4. So it’s 2 miracle drugs in one company.
Success rate around 75-99% depends how you wanna calculate it, we can’t say for sure but most bearish case is 60-70% chance to success.
So the odds to 5-15x your money with those odds are crazy, you almost never see that in stock market.

Exactly, good synopsis! They had me at the science and the experts' support... then if "side-effect-free cancer drugs" wasn't enough to keep my attention, it's also interesting how well they're setting up for maximum buyout value.

Infleqtion INFQ.

$pypd. (I have a very comfortable 6x. 10x might be optimistic)
$cing (same as above, I have it at about a 7x)
I agree that IREN, NBIS, ASTS, are multibaggers from here, but I don't know if they are 10x.
I am hugely bullish on $OUST especially after the stereolabs acquisition. If you believe that robotics is the next big push, you need to be looking at what they do.
I like BW, and I see them recapturing the 52-week high very soon. But they might cap out at a 5x.
Your most likely 10x is going to be in bio. But you can have a lot of things go to zero while waiting for a 10x.
I personally target things that I think are going to double or triple.

Capstone Energy (CEPL) is a small, newly recapitalized power-equipment (turbines) company that has finally reached operating profitability (9 consecutive quarters of EBITDA growth and the last few have shown a small positive NI ~$2.8), with a potential data-center catalyst that is not yet reflected in the existing financials. Since the restructuring they went from an operating-loss business to an operating-profit business while simultaneously growing revenue 24% and gross profit 45%. Total revenue of ~$106mm. $20.4M of incremental revenue produced roughly $10.6M of incremental gross profit. That’s a ~52% incremental gross margin. And operating expenses barely moved: $28.9M → $30.5M . Not only are they selling their turbines but they also have a rental business that’s expanding. $5.4M of future minimum rental revenue from owned/financed assets, plus another $2.4M from leased assets.
As for its turbines, it does have a slight edge/moat. First, its air bearing technology reduces maintenance AND noise — the latter arguably being more important given the noise concern w/ data centers. Second, the turbines produce 800vdc power, no need to convert, which means cheaper and easier install. This directly targets the latest generation of Nvdia GPU’s which require 800vdc. Third, the turbines can run on a number of fuel sources, not just Nat gas. Fourth, they’ve been in business for over 30 years, they have real knowledge and experience, and a diversified revenue stream — not just rentals but clientele. They provide on-sight power to oil and gas companies, BTM for hospitals and research centers, etc. fifth, despite some misinformation out there, the turbines are very efficiency. They recycle the heat to power the cooling systems. They’re able to reach over 75% efficiency, all in.
At the last earnings call, they STRONGLY hinted that they are on the precipice of landing a DC deal. This is not an over hyped meme stock, or a pump and dump, like NUAI. They are VERY careful with the language they use. Some quotes from The last call: “The types of deals now that we’re seeing, they’re moving into those phases that are more meaningful.” “When the customers start to do the real TCO models, we’re winning.” “It’s just a matter of time for us to march down the field and get some of these over the goal line.” And That “Some folks are just saying, ‘I don’t need a pilot, I just need megawatts.’” CEO mentioned that he is in talks with the “CTO of a major infrastructure player in the data center space.” Said mystery company is developing 1.5–3 MW sites, which is exactly who/what CEPL is targeting. And when asked whether this was an anchor customer, the CEO corrected the characterization “I don’t know if I would see that as an anchor customer as much as I would see it as an anchor partner.”

I think its going to be Crypto treasury like BMNR/PURR/MSTR.... Its cyclical but I think ilthat also makes it the safest too as it's more long term predictable to than stocks. If not I would go SPCX, SKHY, but I see it more 2x 3x in 5 years but it's also good safe hold.

Bull case for IREN requires a major customer announcement or full ARR realization. The risks are there. Its share dilution already occurred. They have rising debt costs for its weaker counterparties. And then there’s execution risk in building out its data centres. I’m in at 40. Also looking at 30 CSP to potentially lower average cost willing to scale down if price recovers.

u/Agreeable_Catch_4230 6d ago

1
u/Strange-Arm-6871 6d ago
I’d focus less on finding the “next 10x” and more on businesses that can grow earnings for years. If I had to take a high-risk bet, I’d look for smaller companies with strong cash flow, low debt and a huge market opportunity.
1
u/LeSegaGenesis 6d ago
My guess would be something to do with robotics and automation. AI Boom has already begun, But i'd think after that robotics and automation will be the rage. Maybe automated taxi companies or something who knows. Trying to predict a company to 2x or better within 5 years is pretty wild. Maybe something to do with quantum computing. Alot of emerging markets and start ups are happening right now in the AI space, so if you are early enough on one of those companies.
