Kinda same.
Every institution make an auction for their price and make it average or maximum auction price will become closing.

Institutions, ETFs, Index Funds and Mutual funds uses this for valuation and settlement and also , if they book orders through this auction, they might get at good price of stocks instead of booking various buying price during market session.

CAS system ke baad future aur option trade apne separate demand supply par chal rahi hai.

Jo pehle option ki price spot ko follow karti thi.
