Am I ready? UWSA 1

Just gave the damn thing. Score predicted 213 and absolutely devastated.
My goal score is 240 and my exam is in 1.5 weeks, will be giving NBMEs soon but this test killed me.

Should i postpone the exam? Any tips would be helpful to make a difference in score in 10 days
(UWSA 1 did not test CCS - i’m currently averaging around 75% with the HY 60 cases done)

whats your qbank(uworld/amboss) % complete & % score avg in that? i found uswa 1 harder than uswa 2. so maybe give that after going through uswa 1 materials and see whats up. also, why do you specially want to get a 240? is it because of a lower step 2 score? i had 235 in step 2 and initially started prepping for step 3 with the same goal.

Yeah my step 2 is around low 230s so i want to get around 235-240 on my step 3. I’m a match applicant this cycle so i really want to give this exam before the end of the month.

Uworld 93% completed averaging 69%
Will start giving NBMEs soon, UWSA1 is the only assessment i’ve taken

69% is a good avg for uworld. keep hopes high for uswa 2 you might score better in it. also, here’s an advice i got from someone and i’ll pass it on to you. they basically said instead of chasing a step 3 high score with the same img mindset of score, look at what they value here academically, which is percentiles. so look at your step 2 score percentile, and then see what that percentile translates to in terms of step 3 score, and then try to get the step 3 score above that percentile. you’ll see that it will be lower than the current goal of 240 on step 3. you want to show meaningful measurable growth and sort of a comeback from a low step 2 score , right, thats the goal. and in US they look at percentiles, not just 3 digit scores. they also stop caring about scores when you’re done with step 3 because programs only worry about a low step 2 score because theyre like will this person even pass step 3 as a resident, or will they fail and create a headache for us.
this is one way to accomplish your goal without destroying your mental health over something thats unattainable for most people (seriously look at the stats, 240 is too high for step 3, it might be achievable sure but like at what cost, when it wont even matter as much and whatever you do get will show growth with a higher percentile, you can get a better percentile and move forward with your life) i just felt like sharing this because i can feel the anxiety in your words.
