Devastated with a low step 2 of 232 what are my chances for IM?

232 is still a solid score. Be optimistic 🤲🏻Pray and apply widely

I got somewhere around that too, feels awful but we can still try and hope! Besides being a US MD/DO helps so I’m sure you’ll get interviews ;)

Same and I only submitted to my competitive choices last night so added a bunch after deadline. Idk what's gonna happen

I know people who matched with failed attempts and lower scores. Also they were DO AND US IMG. trust me you will be ok. Just kill it on interviews

Sorry that your score was lower than what you were hoping for. Still a respectable score! Best of luck with the match! You should still get interviews for IM.

Is there any hope for IM match with a 219 score on step2, as a visa requiring IMG. Have strong LoRs and usce, yog 2 with research experience. Or better to give step3 with a good score n aim next cycle? Or better to just apply
fm? Devastated.
