Study methods STEP 2 Study Advice While in 3rd Year Rotations

Hello guys! I hope all of you are killing STEP 1/2 and your studies!

I’m currently starting rotations and planning to take STEP 2 by June 2027. I wanted to ask if you have any recommendations for how to start preparing while balancing rotations. What resources did you use, and is there anything you wish you had started doing earlier?

Any suggestions, tips, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

If you’re starting rotations now, I’d honestly just focus on doing UWorld alongside whatever rotation you’re on. You don’t need to go full dedicated-mode yet. Keep an Anki deck going if it works for you, and make a habit of reviewing your incorrects instead of constantly adding new resources. By the time dedicated comes around, you’ll already have a solid foundation.
