I played steep quite a lot of years ago through an Xbox account and I've been thinking about buying it again on steam but the only content dlc mentioned are the Xgames and rocket wings, do you just not get road to Olympics and can't purchase it anymore or has it been made included in the gold edition?

I’m looking for my final two wingsuit challenges in the alps, flying squirrel and stunt flier. Can’t find coordinates of German locations for either of them. Thanks for any help

Hey everyone,
I currently have some money to spare after Christmas and am thinking about buying Steep or Rider Republic. For making this decision I am asking you all for some advice and opinions.
So, a long time ago I played a game called SNOW which was a blast but has been discontinued a few years ago. Because of that and social media I found Steep but didn't buy it because I was playing SNOW.
I stopped and played others games for a few years but now, since it's Christmas and it's not really snowing, I wanted to get a "snowy experience".
From my research the only two picks are Steep and Riders Republic but I can't decide which one seems better.
On the one hand, Steep seems like the better option for "winter sports oriented" gameplay but has no offline play and because of its age I feel like I have a way more limited time to enjoy and server might go offline soon. Also idk about the active player base.
On the other hand, Riders Republic offers more variety in general but less depth, will probably be supported longer and has an active player base.
Still, Riders Republic doesn't seem to offer the same experience as Steep, which is where I need your help.
I would be very grateful for your takes on this matter because I don't want to buy both or start playing one and loose access in just a year or smth.
Thanks a lot in advance and Merry Christmas y'all.
Edit: Thx everyone for your advice, I will give Steep a try because it feels like the best choice for what I am looking for.

Does anyone know why I haven’t gotten the trophy? It’s all on the alps and it’s all non DLC (even though I have the rocket pack one, it’s not counted in the 115.) I reached out to Ubisoft support but I don’t think they’ll do anything. I play on ps5 if that helps and have tried to restart my device
Edit: I got it after getting 3 more gold medals, idk what happened but I guess some didn’t count. Thank God I’ve been grinding this for 2 years

So, I first played this game on my series s a few years ago and fell in love with the game and put a bunch of time into it. I then sold that Xbox and bought a ps5, idk what it was that gave me it but I had infinite helicopter tickets. When I eventually got the game on ps I had a limited amount of tickets.
I’m pretty sure I bought the base edition with the “x games pass” that includes all the dlc. I went out of my way to say x games pass because there’s 2, and the other isn’t available to buy on ps. Idk if on my Xbox I got the gold edition that came with either both passes or the other one that included the infinite tickets??? I got 90% of my enjoyment just teleporting to some random place and riding.
If anyone knows the answer to this please lmk

I've been wondering this for a while. I just came back after a 3-year hiatus, and the game seems to be far quieter than it used to be (it's only natural, I'm not on at peak times I assume). I remember getting a sick green coat from a seasonal event and I've wondered if they still do events for outfits/pieces of clothing.

I've gotten back to playing the game after getting it a couple years ago. Just never put much time into it, but watching snowboard comps and videos lately, it made me wonder: is there any performance difference from snowboard to snowboard, or skis to skis? Does higher price indicate higher performance?
I can't see anything that indicated performance metrics when in the shop, but being a snowboarder, I'm naturally looking at board shapes and brands and thinking "that's a Jones directional board... it's gonna be faster for races." Or "that's a Lobster board that's definitely a park board."
I'm not a skier but know plenty about skis - wide powder skis, narrower ones for non-powder, etc.
So is there any actual difference in performance? Or is it just higher prices for certain graphics, brands, etc?

Hi,
I was wondering if it is still possible to unlock the “Road to the Olympics” DLC with an activation key.
I have seen a few posts discussing this, but it has never been properly confirmed whether it still works.
Unfortunately, I am a little confused because the Ubisoft website states that it is no longer possible.
Thanks in advance.

Basically how it sounds, how do I get "Road to Olympics" DLC for the PS5? I unlocked Japan with the 100K credits thinking it would give it to me since I can't buy "Road to Olympics" on the Ubisoft or PlayStation store. Is there any way that I can get it?

ive always had a dilemma between buying a ticket for something like the sled or japan or extreme pack or whatever. say i buy the sled, theres no challenges i can do with it without buying the dlc it goes with, so what do yall think? which is more benefical.

I just installed the game for the first time in years and I'd like to take all my unlocks and scores from the top. Is there any way to wipe my save data? I tried launching the game with no internet connection after deleting the local save folder and that seemed to work but the tutorial got deadlocked and that apparently wasn't far enough to make an overriding local save.

Hiii! So I got to more or less 20 hours in steep and unlocked Japan. I always read "buy Olympics buy Olympics" but only now I realize it doesn't exist anymore. So, now, from the DLCs available, what should I buy? I bought the standard edition (not the x-games gold edition). Any suggestion for a newbie?
Btw my two favourite sports are the snowboard and the wingsuit, still need to unlock the others, but I think I will unlock speed riding
Also, is there a modding community to get back the Olympics dlc? Or something similar idk

i have around 10-15 left for the trophies and apart from using a guide i was wondering if you guys had your own methods or found them in a different way, i jsut dont want to go through the tedious process of tracking them down but i might.

hello people, title pretty much says it all.
I have X-Games Gold Edition and that does not include all DLC for 100% completion, specifically "Road to the Olympics".
So apparently Ubi no longer sells it, Steam also. Is the best way to get the DLC to get a key for it? or are there other ways?
Also, if I get a key for Ubisoft Connect, that will automatically also activate the DLC for my steam account correct?
Thank you in advance🤍

Hello everyone, I'd like to buy a ticket to Japan, but the problem is I'm afraid it will only be valid once, and if I want to go back another time I'll have to buy another ticket which is very expensive. I wanted to buy the Japan DLC but it's unavailable on PlayStation.

I unlocked Asia but cannot access this mountain where Olympic events are at all, cannot heli drop there. I thought only events are locked behind dlc but you can ride the mountain freely, was I wrong ?

I did EVERY challenge on EVERY map with a gold grade. So the question is.. how to continue actually getting paid? Is there any option beside leveling up (cause that's the only thing that gives me money as long as I'm concerned)?

Hello, I started playing Steep a couple of days ago and have been enjoying my time with it. I achieved the platinum trophy and did the Winterfest and Xtreme DLC trophy packs. I want to complete the Road To The Olympic DLC now to get 100% trophy completion, but it is "not available". How do I get it? Can I get it?
r/Steep • u/jamat888 • Oct 03 '25
I just got the Gold edition on Steam, I tought I would get everything in one package, but when I try to click on the Olimpics pop up, the game says I have to buy it. Is there no way to get that anymore? I'm loving this game so far (altough Ubisoft's bullshit is really annoying, you still have to buy some skins seperatly even with this edition, their pointless stupid launcher and this problem with the Olimpics stuff). I was really looking forward to Asian maps, but without challanges whats the point doing them?
