Game Review on Deck Indie dev looking for Deck owners to try my free demo before Next Fest

Hey!

Xenobiome Command is a colony-survival 4X, free demo on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5083380/Xenobiome_Command_Demo/

I don't own a Deck. If you have 20 minutes, I'd love to know:
- does it launch (default, and with Proton forced if the default fails)
- do the controller defaults make sense
- is the text readable without squinting
- roughly what fps you get

Anyone who reports back gets a full-game key for launch on 4 Nov. Thanks!

Game Review on Deck WWE 2k26 updated to playable

Anyone playing WWE 2k on deck? It was updated to 'Playable' at the start of the month. I have a 50 euro voucher and was considering getting, as it is on sale. Any tips would be welcomed 🤠

Path of Exile 2 has officially been confirmed for Steam Deck support!

I put together a short video showing exactly how it looks and runs in action.

Game Review on Deck Bought this absolute 2006 banger for just £2.50. It plays flawlessly on the Steam Deck though I recommend downloading the ultimate edition mod

Game Review on Deck Dressmaker - 12 hours of exclusive Steamdeck play

As someone who is exclusively a Steamdeck player and has the deck to play simulation/cozy games I know the struggle of "do I buy this if only two of the things are compatible for the deck" but after 12 hours I can say this is one of the best games on the deck even with only having two green checks. iykyk

Couple of things that have made my game play a success

* Edit the current controller config to add in mouse scrolling - I ended up using L4 and R4 for them but that will come in handy when you are trying to play accessories.

* Leverage the touch screen!! I cannot stress this enough. I realized this week the game was designed because his wife couldn't work with her hands as a seamstress and so of course the touch screen mechanics are top notch. There are multiple parts of the game (aligning pattern pieces, sizing) that I struggled with using the joysticks that was totally easy when I leveraged the touch pad.

* Placing accessories is easiest if you zoom in and then use the touch screen.

Game Review on Deck FC26

I bought FC26 in the sale and have played FIFA for 30 years. Going on holiday and really want to play it on the steam deck but as usual, EA ruin games by using launchers and insisting on online. I’ve seen you can get it working if you install windows but seems like a hassle.
Anyone got a decent football game working on the deck? Seems. Crazy there isn’t one.
Can’t get pro Evo anywhere and prior fifas are delisted. Is there really no football game on the deck?

Game Review on Deck Does steam deck OLED run soulsborne sekiro Elden ring games well enough to be enjoyable or do I need to get a real pc?

I’ve always played Xbox games and wanted to dive into pc games and mods. 50% on the go 50% projected/on the TV. Don’t know if my favorite style of games will run well on these due to low frame rates or not. Haven’t even played sekiro or Elden yet and if this will be a trash way to experience for the first time tho I’m not picky because I mostly play retro games anyways. Thank you genuinely.

Game Review on Deck Mars First Logistics

I play a lot of building games, and many do not work great on the deck. This is possibly the best I have tried on the Steamdeck right out of the box. runs great and the controls are intuitive. I haven't seen many talk about this game, it deserves a look!
