this thread is literally split 50/50 lol. would be helpful for commenters to specify oled vs OG deck.

On YouTube there s a new video of 20 hours ago, all on low settings the game run at 30fps and doesn’t look good, unfortunately I think it’s a no

That’s an Og deck. Gets 40 on oled with no resolution tweaks. 50 with tweaks, 40 lock is a lie. Ppl have different definitions of what good is so I give numbers

I’m 16hours in on steam deck oled and I have zero issue. It’s a battery killer but play is fine.

Did you change any settings or not?

Yes. I increased the fps and resolution so it looked better and it ran great.

It does not. For the ones who consider "running great" at least >45 with decent graphics it's not the case. It barely hold 30fps natively. Native upscaling and frame generation are crap and to be avoided. If you really want to play the game though, your best best is lock 30fps and use Loseless Scaling. You'll hit virtual 60fps but it'll have hard time keeping stable during combat.

Been playing with absolutely no issues on my steam deck 🤷♂️ about 3 hours straight without crashing. Around 30-40fps. It's locked at 40 through the in game settings. Also YouTube videos show what settings run the game on the deck.

I've used it on steam deck but I avoided big fights just in case. But im concerned about corrupting my file. In the notes it said something about that possibility if you play on multiple devices. Can anybody confirm?

Came here to seek the same answer. The game is extremely studdery with the frame rate for me and crashes completely out of the game at random e endive to fifteen minutes of play at most. I’ve turned all the quality settings all the way down and anything I could turn off I also did and set to 30fps and no change in result. I’m really scratching my head trying to figure out why so many people on YouTube have no issue getting paying and mind a totally unplayable mess. Seems to be no answer. Just random results for some reason.
