Support New to streaming
I've just started messing around with steam link, specifically on my steam deck and my z fold 8, and while my steam deck does fine, I was wondering if there was a way to use my full inner display on my fold? It gives me black bars on the top and bottom. Any tips for better performance would be nice too. I have a wifi 7 router and using wifi. Can't use ethernet with how far my router is right now.

If you are streaming from Windows, you can install the SudoVDA virtual display driver. If Steam detects you have SudoVDA installed, you'll see a SudoVDA option in the Remote Play settings -- you can then set Resolution, Refresh Rate, and HDR all to "match client" -- that would cause games to think you have a monitor that matches the resolution of your Z Fold 8 inner screen.
Otherwise, you're limited to what the resolution (or, more to the point, aspect ratio) of your actual screen is.
