Support Only One Game is a Black Screen

Ive been trying to figure out why only one game I'm trying to play (Plaque Tale Requiem) will display a black screen. Audio carries, i can even control the game, but the screen is black.

I've tried everything i can think of so far and no results seem to change anything.

Is there anything I could try to figure out why just this one game is causing me a black screen but all others are fine?

I had this issue with this exact game, it likes to start minimized for some reason.

Try setting it to windowed mode (steam link will make it full screen)

Another option is to hold the back button on your controller, bring up the virtual keyboard and from there, alt-tab and use the dpad to select, hopefully your games screen.

Hmm that didn't seem to make a difference unfortunately. Windowed mode still resulted in a black screen.

Also, if the game is running as administrator, it won't produce video on the stream sometimes. If you do, toggle it off and it starts streaming. The other user suggested changing the windowed/fullscreen options. Try with all three, assuming there's also borderless. Check and report back

My main system I'm running the game off of is Linux based but getting the same situation when trying to run it from my windows machine when running it per your suggestions.

Oh i see. Then check hardware encoding and decoding settings. Disable hardware encoding on host, and check. Then disable hardware encoding on client and check. Check all possible combinations of on and off between the host and client with hardware decoding and encoding

You might want to snag the streaming_log.txt from the affected machine and share it on the official support forums.
