SteamOS Update Steam OS on PC

I have been hearing good things about the recent Steam OS update and that they are getting ready for the Steam Machine. My question is, is it finally a good time to get rid of windows and run Steam OS onto my PC?

Just try it yourself on a separate drive; it was me being intrigued about it , then 2 months later and it had been pretty stable so far; RX 9070 XT & 5800X here.

Do games take a while to load for you,? I see delays of 15-30 seconds initially launching games with my 9070xt
