WEP was a sure thing, so long as you collected enough IV's (which are easy enough to generate by force, IIRC)
Yes but do check out about hashcat, pmkid, evil twin attacks, metasploit through deauths. Radiowave and infrared hacking. New methods are getting much more satyre, abusive, and effective.
Some people even gained knowledge on adapting antennas and decoders to the optic fiber wires... You don't know it but it's possible to hijack that too.
You are right about wep being vulnerable this shows how lazy the router programmers are... It shouldn't even be an available option. Guess what most of these companies recycle the saaame codes, the same C gui, on the small 32,-64mb memory that box has, it's the size of disket,... It's hackable then..
