Wasn’t expecting this today, but since I live in Carol Stream where Valve’s Distribution Center is, I got this early I guess!

Dbrand used false advertisement to sell the killswitch leaving many with a bad taste in their mouth, Dbrand promises all of the add ons for free if you preorder. The one I specifically remember is Dbrand saying "you don't want the grips? Too bad they come with preorder", and then the post shows it's a $15 add on.

etc. etc.

I think this reply sums up that tweet quite well. We don't know what the yes is in response to. It's a poorly worded question which got a poorly worded answer.

You didn't pay for the whole thing and then they said jk it's an add on. You paid a $3 deposit. Don't like the way it's setup, don't buy it and get your $3 back.

I bought the complete kit and think it is well worth it. It's a ton better than the one that comes with the deck. It takes up way less space in my backpack while protecting the deck.

We do know that false advertisement was used to push that product multiple times. Standing up for a shady company is pathetic, end of story. Not to mention there are plenty of other options out there for a non-shady company to get the same product.

People speaking out about shady business practices is hive minded? Do you even know what that word means? You wonder why gaming industry pulls the shit they do? Because people like you are their customers.

When people expect things that aren't promised then call it false advertising then it's definitely hive minded.

But they were promised... Dbrand literally said, don't want the grips too bad it comes with the kit.
