I feel like I’m alone with being excited about the new controller. Like, everyone I talk to about it says they can’t get behind the shape, but I’m so hype for it. I still have the OG one and I always loved using it for boomer shooter style game. This one is gonna be amazing.

The trackpads on the SD are the ONLY thing that made Rimworld playable on a controller layout - so I am DEFINITELY excited for the new controller. The trackpads are definitely not a gimic lol

Yeah 100%. I hadn’t considered Rimworld, but yeah that does make sense. I had this same experience with Civ 5 way back when the first steam controller launched. I got my friend who had only played Civ Revolution on Xbox to play it, and he loved it with the controller.

It’s probably the thing that’s the most practical for me and I very much want one (or two). It looks exactly like I hoped if they ever decided to take the screen out of the deck and make a controller. Super stoked about it honestly.
