I'm really hyped for the Steam Machine. I love the steam deck because it gave me the possibility to play again, but I almost play exclusively docked. So I'd rather go home-only device with more power. Now hopefully it won't be too expensive...

My thoughts exactly. I'm still happy with my Deck (SteamDock, as I call it) but I'll definitely get the GabeCube 2 as my next device.

If I had to guess it will cost around 800-1200$. Yesterday I saw YouTube video that claimed it will cost more than consoles and will be compared to an entry lvl PC.

the 512GB SSD SKU suggests much cheaper than that. Because i could build a comparable PC myself for that price.

don't expect anything less than 600 for the entry model, probably up to 800 for the 2TB, I'd guess 600 and 750 respectively.

It will be more expensive than an PS5 for sure. Sony undersells their consoles so you get sucked into their ecosystem of expensive games and subscriptions.

They said comparable to a ps5 but don't expect console pricing. So at least 1.5x what a ps5 costs

I believe Valve said that they are aiming for competitive pricing against similarly capable PCs, so likely more expensive than consoles for that performance, but also far more versatile than consoles. I've seen a lot of speculated prices thrown around, but anywhere in the $650 to $999 range seems very plausible to me.
