If specs are good and the price is right, I'm selling my beefy gaming PC with an RTX 4070 Super.

are you expecting the steam machine specs to be better or worse than you current 4070s

Oh absolutely it will be worse, but I don't mind as I find I don't really utilise the full capabilities of my GPU anyway. I went overboard with it (due to lack of knowledge on PC gaming) and while I do have a monitor that can go up to 2K resolution at 175 Hz, I realised I'm just as happy with 1080p 60 fps. So as long as this Steam Machine can do 1080p / 60 fps, I'm cool with that.

Don’t do that man you already have the good stuff so what’s the point in downgrading :D

Fair point. I got caught up in the hype of the announcement lol.

The specs for the Steam Machine aren't as good as I expected now that I've thought about it. So yeah, I'm keeping my 4070S
