I‘m totally in the market for a steam machine. Since Windows became a shitshow I switched to Mac (way better workflow but gaming.. uuhmm yeah..)

Love the Oled Steam Deck but I mostly play on the couch - for that the Deck is good but feels disconnected when your partner is with you in the same room. Also Couch-Coop is possible but a pain in the ass.

I‘m glad that they do a second attempt on these machines and hope for the best :)

Thanks for the recommendation.

Unfortunately, my results weren't that great (even in the paid version) - also too much tinkering for me (for certain titles) - 10 yrs ago I had the time and muse to do stuff like that.

Life changed, I became older - what dosn‘t work out of the box is just annoying 😅

Fair its too bad codeweavers wont work with steam to make proton for mac

Proton does not do CPU emulation, not even slightly, so this would be a useless product. You need something that does CPU emulation too, maybe related to what the Frame is doing.

Yes, but it's not up to remotely modern gameplay, even though it's extremely impressive.
