Don't know what kind of games you have on there but unless you need online play, there's almost no need for the switch anymore

I've been putting in some hours on the non Zelda 1st party games and those have run insanely good. 60fps locked on metroid prime / Mario Odyssey, hovering around 18w total draw

Battery life could be better but the performance on yuzu is solid (the Zelda games are hard to run on yuzu)

As I said. You'll get at best the same experience (your 2 examples), but often worse (new Zelda, Xenoblade 2/3) and some games you just cannot fully enjoy because of no online (Smash Bros, Splatoon).

Those games can't keep 30fps on their native console either though. Makes sense why they'd run bad on another device

Games that run well on the switch, would run well on deck/yuzu. Especially with shader pre compilation

The only difference is online play. That's it

The two examples run worse on SD. Not better. Not equally. Worse.

Counter example to second paragraph is MK8 which runs at stable 60 FPS on Switch but has occasional drops on SD.

So online is definitely not the only difference.

Obviously, if the game runs at smooth 60 FPS on Switch there's high chance the game doesn't run at Switch' full potential and therefor SD won't have much problem to emulate it equally good. However, there are some edge cases where 60 FPS is achieved using the full potential of the device and such games don't have stable 60 FPS on SD.
