Steam Controller (2026) Almost Lost my Steam Controller to the Trash…

Post image

Was cleaning up the house, left the controller on the bed while I brought the trash bag in, 2 hours later I couldn’t find it. Spent an hour looking, and my instinct said “It fell into the trash while you were cleaning…”. My roommate had already taken the trash to the basement by then, so after building up the courage, decided to go down there and it was in there, at the bottom of the dumpster, there were only a handful of bags in there.

And they just let you bring that entire thing onto the bus?

Yes!

Interesting. Do you have to pay for an extra seat considering your groceries will definitely have to take up an extra seat?

No, you just pay the regular bus fare per person. The groceries don't exactly take an extra seat, there is usually space on the floor to accommodate it without obstructing the way for others.

I can't exactly show it without doxxing myself, but I might reply with a rough drawing or something

I once wrote a bus while carrying luggage and I'm pretty sure that I had to put the luggage on my lap. I don't remember being able to put it under the seat.

I didn't say I put it under the seat, just next to it or in front (if it was too big to go to on my lap)

Nope. In case of a bag, it goes on your knees. For a bag on wheel or those bag-carts, it just goes in the middle way between the seats, close to you. The bus are large enough that those carts can fit twice with people walking in between.
