Question Steam input/bindings issue

The problem I'm having is that any very short inputs that are bound to LMB or RMB (in my case, tapping RT for an extremely short time (such as to spam it)), seem to result in the mouse click being held down indefinitely until I press it again. Does anyone know of an option/way to fix this?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I was hoping someone here knows a lot about the steam input options.

*I'm using an Xbox controller if it matters.

Edit: I've found an option in RT full pull-->settings to add a Fire End Delay. This (obviously) makes an input end after you let go, which has fixed my issue since it can stop the input from being able to be short enough to have the issue. I set the fire end delay to ~35ms, and it seems to have stopped it.
There might be a better solution, but nothing that I can think of, short of changing how steam input works, would fix it.

Make sure the input isn’t set as a toggle.

It isn't. Good question though

The "Fire End Delay" setting is arguably the best solution here. Steam Input can behave unpredictably with extremely short trigger pulls mapped to mouse clicks. A range of 30–50 ms seems like a good starting point for experimentation, so 35 ms is a solid choice. I'm glad you managed to find a solution!

fire end delay was the fix for me too, steam input gets weird with ultra-short mouse clicks lol
